(1/5/2010 Update)  I must once again apologize for lack of updates. The web service this site is run through has undergone changes ove the last couple months. I had been doing updates as normal, and everything seemed honky-dory on my end, so I never gave much thought to checking the actual website after I was finished. But evidently I should have. Turns out the few changes from this server did apply to me and the website. I believe I have everything figured out and back on track. Again sorry, I am aware the last post was back in October.

On that note....Happy Thanksgiving!!! Happy Holidays!!! and Happy New Year!!!

Many things have happened since my last post. Here goes the long story, short. Once again thank everyone for the support shown to Amy so far and especially during her benefit ride in late October. Amy has mad great strides in recovery since then. She had been released from constant care just before Thanksgiving, being able to return home while Gene had enough vacation to stay home with her through the end of 2009.

December was also a good month for Amy. As well as spending quality time with her husband she was pampered for her birthday, Dec 10th, by girls day out with close friends. Her holidays were execptionally great considering everything she had gone through this year. She was home, with her family, and sporting a new hairdo. Red to be exact, very festive.

Which brings us to the new year 2010. Amy does have some obstacles in the foreseeable future. The biggest being Gene having to return to work, but she is not alone. She still has many people in support. Whether it be living with her, living near her, or dropping by to check on her. Plus she still has her cell phone with same number if anyone wants to give her a call.

It is my intentions to get Amy to try to posting updates herself. Something to look forward to in the comings weeks.
